"To look upon me is to know despair! Few have observed the splendor of my fire and lived to tell about it, consider yourself privileged to ...oh come now, that's just rude!"
——Callous, Great Red Dragon of the Black Mountains

Description

This small spherical glass bottle is encased in black iron, the liquid inside a burning red. Conveniently, the black iron casing also serve as markers, a carved dragons claws grasps the bottle, its talons pointing to each measured dose of the potion.

Lore

These deadly drinks are said to be the liquefied, stolen essence of dragons tricked into breathing into magical containment devices. The truth is slightly more mundane, however. Any component from a red dragon will do in creating these potions. If one were lucky enough to find a broken scale dropped from a dragon flying overhead, they could make such an item with little risk to themselves, as very few dragons are willing to give a part of their bodies willingly.
