Description

This well made but otherwise unremarkable spear is made of a dark red wood, well polished and expertly carved. The metal for the spear tip is unpolished, but also unblemished. When it is called upon to change form, the size and shape may change, but the materials remain the same.

Lore

These spears first originated behind the walls of a small kingdom that was regularly under siege from orcish invaders. The attackers were relentless for centuries, this level of desperation often attributed to the lack of other neighboring threats. The two cultures actually depended on their endless war to acquire goods, rather than procuring them through trade. These spears are a result of centuries of development and magical augmentation designed to combat the continually changing tactics of a surprisingly inventive enemy.
