The Truth Serum is always a black liquid, contained in a small, spherical bottle with a cork stopper. The liquid is a thick ichor, and tastes extremely unpleasant to swallow and stomach.

Lore

The creation of the Truth Serum is well known. It was created by Loren Shasteel, a skilled mage. She was aged 35, weighed 120 lbs and stood at 5'4". The date of its first brewing was in the year 342, on the 24th day of the 6th month of that year, in her workshop in the green top mountains at noon. It was first tested on her apprentice, Norwin Copperworth, aged 17, 150 lbs, and 5'6" in height, who was well known for his love of cats and fear of small spaces.
