A Deity who falls within the Death Sphere wishes to control life, either for its own amusement or as a necessity. The powers of this sphere allow a cleric to harm others with Necrotic energy, detect the living, increase their own resistance to the powers of death, and empower their death magic beyond normal limits.

Trigger: A creature within range attempts a Saving Throw versus the Marked for Death condition.

Target: Triggering creature
Effect: The God of Death is always watching, and recognizes an opportunity instantly, pushing its essence into those clinging to life. You may increase or decrease the difficulty of the Saving Throw by 4 [STP or STB 4].

First Shell
Prerequisite: Divine Rank 4
Effect: Your deity always seeks to expunge the living whenever possible, and grants you the gift to find its adversaries. As an Immediate Action, you gain Lifesense for 1 round.
Second Shell
Prerequisite: Divine Rank 6
Effect: Your divine essence is tainted with necrotic strength. When casting Divine Prayers with the Death keyword, treat your Divine Rank as 1 Rank higher.
Third Shell
Prerequisite: Divine Rank 8
Effect: You can reverse the effects of death magic to instead fortify your body and soul. You are immune to powers and abilities with the Death keyword.
