Disciplines: Guardian
Standard Action [Weapon Speed]
Cost: 3 Stamina
Effect: Your strike is calculated, forcing your enemy to move into the ideal position. You corner the target, focusing your attention on them. Make an attack:
Range: Melee Reach
Target: One creature
Attack: Melee Weapon vs. AC
Hit: Weapon[4 WD] damage and the next time the target moves (within 10 segments) it grants you an Opportunity.
Augment, Greater Cornering Blow
[Martial Rank 7, Stacking]
Stacking [Rank 7, 9, 11, etc]: This augment may be applied multiple times and is limited by your Martial Rank.
Effect: Increase the damage dealt by each attack by 1 WD.
Master Augment, Create Opportunity [Stance]
[Martial Rank 5]
Requirement: You must be utilizing the Guarded Watcher Stance.
Effect: If you are granted an Opportunity by this technique, roll twice on the Opportunity Attack and take the better result.
Master Augment, Stay Right There [Stance]
[Martial Rank 5]
Requirement: You must be utilizing the Shield Warden Stance.
Effect: If you hit on the Opportunity Attack granted by this technique, you stop the target's movement. The target must still pay the Recovery Cost for moving.
Master Augment, Overexposed [Stance]
[Martial Rank 6]
Requirement: You must be utilizing the Vexing Vanguard Stance.
Cost: Special
Effect: If you hit on the Opportunity Attack granted by this technique, you may spend 3 Stamina to cause the target to grant an opportunity to all creatures currently threatening it.
Master Augment, Cornering Shot [Stance]
[Martial Rank 6]
Requirement: You must be utilizing a Marksman Stance.
Effect: You may use this ability with a Ranged Weapon (provoking opportunity as normal). If your target moves, you may use a Ranged Basic Attack as your Opportunity.
Master Augment, Certain Opportunity [Stance]
[Martial Rank 6]
Requirement: You must be utilizing a Duelist Stance.
Cost: 1 Stamina
Effect: The target now grants you an opportunity the first time it moves or makes an Attack (within a number of segments equal to the total recovery time of this technique).
