Basic Mental Method [Metacast]

Prerequisites: Mental Rank 2

Casting Prerequisite: To gain the benefit of this Metacast ability you must be Rank 3 or higher in the philosophy relevant to the power you are casting.

Cost: CT +1

Effect: With a little bit of concentration, you hurl your spell on a trajectory that skims off the intangible lines of magic. When casting a power you may double the range of the power. You cannot use this ability with a power that has an augment affecting range. You cannot increase the range of a power with a range of touch, increase the size of an area of effect, or affect spells with an area that originates from you (such as a cone or an area centered on you).

Special: Only one Metacast ability may be used on a single casting of a power.
