Metacast Powers
Metacast Powers are a specific group of Mental Methods that provide Free Action abilities to augment a Cast Action. In addition to meeting the prerequisites for taking a Metacast Power, your character must also meet a Casting Prerequisite. This Casting Prerequisite requires a minimum rank in the philosophy relevant to the power utilized with the Metacast Power. In other words, if you are using a Metacast Poweron an Eldritch Spell, your Eldritch Rank must meet the Casting Prerequisite of the feat. Likewise, with a Divine Prayer, your Divine Rank must meet the prerequisite.
Most Metacast Powers have a cost. This cost is added to the base cost of the power when you utilize the metacast ability.
Most Eldritch Spells and many Divine Prayers can be modified by Metacast powers. These powers offer conditional bonuses that you may apply to a cast power for a cost (such as increased Energy, Casting Time, or Recovery Time). You are limited to utilizing only one metacast power at a time (Though some abilities may increase this limitation).
Some Metacast powers have a Stacking effect (indicated by the keyword 'Stacking'). When you use the power you may apply the benefit multiple times, paying the cost for each application. Each application does not count toward the limit of one metacast ability per cast.
