Basic Mental Method [Metacast]

Prerequisites: Mental Rank 4

Casting Prerequisite: To gain the benefit of this Metacast ability you must be Rank 6 or higher in the philosophy relevant to the power you are casting.

Cost: 3 Resolve

Requirement: You cast a power with a casting time measured in segments.

Effect: Invigorating yourself with magical alacrity, you decrease the casting time of the power by 50% (round down) to a minimum of 1 segment. Increase the recovery time of the power by the amount the casting time was reduced. This Cast Time reduction is considered to be a Power bonus.

Special: Only one Metacast ability may be used on a single casting of a power.
