Components: Brimstone. 1 gp value for every 5' square needed
Focus: A pentagram drawn on the floor with silver filings (any size, but must be large enough to contain the creature).
Cost: 3 Resolve Allocation while circle remains active
Prep Time: 1 phase
Cast Time: 1 moment
Effect: You must draw the pentagram upon the floor, filling each point with magical runes to recognize a Devilish creature, which becomes activated with your incantation. Once the pentagram is active, if a Devil steps foot within the pentagram it is trapped and cannot exit (the target is considered Anchored and Confined). Alternatively, a Devil can be summoned into the pentagram, immediately trapping it.

While the creature may still bring physical harm to anyone within its reach without stepping out of the pentagram, it cannot affect creatures outside the pentagram with ranged powers or abilities.

The Devil remains trapped until the ritual is dispelled, dismissed, or the pentagram is disturbed (brushed away), damaged, or defaced. Additionally, a creature trapped within the pentagram may be Banished or Dismissed to its home plane. While trapped, the Devil cannot affect the pentagram in any way.
