Trade Skill [Crafting]
"That's right, boy! That's the power of Steel in your hand! With enough of that kind of power, you can have your own kingdom! Bet you thought this business was all about shoeing horses, didn't you?"

Blacksmith represents a character's ability to forge, repair, and maintain metal tools and structures. Blacksmiths craft metallic items (primarily of iron), including tools, cooking pots and cauldrons, doors and portcullis', chains and manacles, horseshoes, chests, and more. Blacksmiths can typically use their skills to repair mundane weapons and armor (though at a higher difficulty than a Weaponsmith or Armorsmith). The Blacksmith skill includes the ability to identify the work of famous smiths, to recognize particular styles of smithing (and their geographical origins), and the identification of rare smithing materials.
