Standard Action [1 Phase]
Effect: You disguise yourself or another person as someone else. You can either change the person to simply look different, changing small features with makeup, clothing, wigs, hair dye, or small prosthesis. You can change the person to look like a creature of a different gender or race, or you can change them to look like a specific person they wish to impersonate. When you complete the disguise, you make a Disguise check (modified as appropriate). Your disguise check is compared to the Awareness of opponents you come in contact with to see if they are fooled by your disguise. If an opponent is looking for the disguised person specifically, or the opponent is familiar with the person being impersonated, they may make an additional Spot check against the disguise.
Augment, Hasty Disguise
Effect: You affect a quick change in order to avoid notice. Change the time of this action to 1 Moment and suffer a -4 penalty to your Disguise check.

Disguise allows a character to make creatures (including themselves) and objects look like someone or something else. Disguise can be completed through the use of make-up, clothing, props and other substances or simply through changes in speech and mannerisms. Disguise lore includes familiarity with famous cons and con artists, legends of famous disguises, and classic roles and archetypes you can take.

  • Disguise yourself (or others) as a particular race or caste of individual to get into an exclusive location
  • Impersonate a specific person
  • Disguise objects to seem inconspicuous and to avoid notice
