Fire Mage

"I always knew we shouldn’t have let him into the academy. From the moment he saw that display at the festival, he was obsessed. He had those crazy eyes, those kind most power hungry wizards get? And now we don’t have a library."
——Groundskeeper at the Institute for Eldritch Excellence

The Fire Mage seeks to master the most ancient and primal element in existence. It is destructive, chaotic, merciless and therefore the perfect tool for increasing one’s own arcane power. Fire is easily manipulated when compared to other elements, and extremely damaging to most things on the material plane. Throughout history, Fire Mages have appeared through many cultures, in a variety of roles ranging from adventurer to royal advisor. Some are not obsessed with the power of flame, but more the beauty of its form and adaptability. These individuals would rather use this power to entertain others, defend a kingdom or aid in the construction of a city.

The Fire Mage is a three-stage Talent.

Fire Mage I

Whatever their motivation, the Fire Mage first learns to draw upon the essence of fire more quickly, as well as protect themselves from the damaging potential of such energies. They also master its shape and power, creating a powerful spell that makes a Fireball look like a crude mockery of its true form.
