Master Specialist

"Mine is the most powerful of all magic. It holds sway over life and death, and when used properly, will even allow you to steal from fate itself. Why would I waste my time with anything else?"
——Velsinger, Master Necromancer

The Master Specialist is already a specialized Wizard who has chosen to continue their studies, exploring the upper limits of what can be done with the school of magic they have chosen. This is actually a fairly common path among practitioners of the Eldritch Arts, as the drive and competitiveness for superiority among Wizards is partly what motivates one to become a Specialist in the first place. This path is an extension of this ideology. There have been many Master Specialists throughout history, often times hired (at an exorbitant price) in service to royalty or wealthy nobility for a service, sometimes even as a retainer to those who can afford it. Othes become famous adventurers, the glory of noble deeds completed in impossible fashion adding to their precious legacies. Their focus and dedication to their particular art eventually grants them powers that even an Archmage could only dream of.

Master Specialists choose to further focus their studies on their Favored Discipline.
