Fundamentals:Combat Training

Combat training are methods by which a character can be customized to be better at attacking, casting or defending. There are seven areas in which a character can focus in combat training (melee, ranged, casting, parry, reflex, fortitude, and will). A character either gains or can choose from various forms of combat training at each level from 1st to 11th (excluding levels 4 and 8) based on the table found at the bottom of each class page. The bonus from combat training in any single category can never exceed +5.

Melee Combat Training: Melee combat training adds to a character's ability to hit with a Melee Attack. For every point in melee combat training the character gains a plus one to their to-hit roll which increases a character's chance to hit an enemy by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Ranged Combat Training: Ranged combat training adds to a character's ability to hit with a Ranged Attack. For every point in ranged combat training the character gains a plus one to their to-hit roll which increases a character's chance to hit an enemy by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Casting Combat Training: Casting combat training adds to a characters ability to hit with a power Cast by that character. For every point in casting combat training the character gains a plus one to their to-hit roll which increases a character's ability to hit an enemy by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Parry Combat Training: Parry combat training adds to a characters Armor Class and their Touch scores. This makes you more skilled at defending against an enemy's attack by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Fortitude Combat Training: Fortitude combat training adds to a characters Fortitude score. This makes you more difficult to be hit by an enemy who targets your Fortitude Defense by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Reflex Combat Training: Reflex combat training adds to a characters Reflex score. This makes you more difficult to be hit by an enemy who targets your Reflex Defense by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
Will Combat Training: Will combat training adds to a characters Willpower score. This makes you more difficult to be hit by an enemy who targets your Will Defense by a cumulative 5% per each point of combat training.
