Incorporeal
Incorporeal creatures are on a tangential plane of reality and project visions of themselves across the planar boundary. In effect, they exist on two different planes at the same time. This most commonly occurs with spirits on the ethereal plane projecting into the material plane. Incorporeal creatures gain the following benefits:
- Immunity to Non-magical Attacks.
- Can move through solid objects without hindrance.
- Cannot be Grabbed or otherwise bodily affected by other creatures.
Effects that can target creatures across planar boundaries affect an Incorporeal creature normally. Additionally, solid objects that exists on both planes will block an Incorporeal creature normally. An Incorporeal creature cannot project itself into an area of Antimagic. If an Incorporeal creature is Banished, its ability to project itself across planar boundaries is suppressed for 1 phase.
Note that the Incorporeal state only applies to a creature while it is projecting itself across a planar boundary. If the creature is encountered on its home plane, it is no longer considered Incorporeal and loses any such benefits. Incorporeal creatures that become Anchored are pulled fully into the Plane and similarly lose the benefits of Incorporeality.
