"Yes, it was very brave of you to stand in front of the Fire Elemental and spit in its face, but I would like to remind you that you are the only one in the party who has armor like that! I mean, just look at the Barbarian! He is clearly afraid of fire now! He won’t even go near a torch anymore!"

Description

This armor is tinged with the color of the last element it was attuned to. Plates on the armor also become similarly decorated, moving depictions of the raw form of energy it is currently activated against making the armor appear almost as if it were a thick magical skin enchanted by the elements themselves.

Lore

This armor can be crafted in a variety of ways, as Clerics are skilled at protection magic, and Eldritch casters excel at manipulating elemental energies. A variety of skilled smiths have even learned how to infuse well-crafted materials with simple magical protections. Still, despite the commonality of these items, the Armors of Resistance are in very high demand, for every adventurer lives in fear, or at least trepidation, of the day they must face down an opponent as dangerous as a dragon.
