Mace of Disruption
"Hah! That skeleton didn't stand a chance! I just can't tell if it was the strength of my arm swinging or the holy light that guided it!"
——Bolevar Braveheart, Paladin
Description
The Mace of disruption is a heavy mace with a thick, ridged head and a rectangular shaft leading to a long, circular grip. Made of well maintained steel, the rectangular shaft is adorned in divine runes. When brought near an undead creature, these runes glow with a pale yellow holy light. When striking undead, the energy flares to life and blasts them to pieces.
Lore
These maces are created through a series of rituals and powerful enchantment that binds holy energies in service to the weapon for the purpose of destroying undead monstrosities. Various goodly religious orders over the years have shared this method of creation with each other in the common interest of ridding an unnatural scourge from the material plane.
