"The fire seethes within me, and this robe is merely an extension of my passion! Deny it and be burned!"
——Sarazan Flamekin, Fire Mage

Description

This dark red robe features a thick, bright orange highly ornate cape that drapes over the shoulders and back of the wearer. Adorned with golden, flame-like symbology all along the cape, arms and waist, the Mantle of the Pyromancer is obvious about its properties from visual appearance alone.

Lore

The age-old archetype of the “Mad Mage” undoubtedly sprang from the exploits of the original owner of this robe. His lust for destructive power was infamous among other wizards and feared by any village he visited. He seemed to attack indiscriminately, and never with any particular goal in mind other than practicing the variety of fire spells he so adored. Eventually, he was slain in combat by a group of adventurers who had been hired to deal with the growing problem, but as he died a part of his will infused his favorite traveling garment, and now it grants his knowledge to any who would hear him.
