"This piece is ancient, and I count myself lucky that you would let me see it in my twilight years. The workmanship is primal and unsophisticated, yet immeasurably strong, and without any gaps in its protections! Whoever made this may not have been a mortal."
——Dor Adamgar, Master Dwarven Armorsmith

Description

Bindings of light blue glowing frozen Leather straps over a Mithral shell permanently encased in ice. On the left shoulder sits the skull of a Winter Wolf. On the right rests the skull of a Wendigo.

Lore

The avatar of the Great Winter who brought the last Ice Age left this vestment behind. Whether this was intentional or not is speculated on by artificers and historians the world over. Entire kingdoms and societies have been decimated from the wars fought over obtaining this powerful armor. Eventually, these fights escalated into the mountains, among the frost giants. Recognizing the power that the humanoids held, the giants joined the fight and quickly overran their enemies. Now the Armor rests in the hands of a great Jarl living in the far north. Or at least, that is where it was last seen.
