Lore

Stealing the essence of strength from a Giant is a dangerous task, no matter the size. Fortunately, every giant has to sleep some time, and a brave and somewhat skilled rogue wanting to make a name for himself was willing to risk life and limb for a hefty profit. He collected the essence in a magical flask designed by the sorcerer who had hired him and brought it back long before the mark had woken up. The two managed to successfully craft the item with little trouble and applauded each other on a job well done. The real trouble came when news spread of the item they had created, and the demand, and price of the item shot up to ridiculous heights. The rogue found himself carrying out these dangerous missions much more than he liked, and gratefully retired immediately when at long last an alternate method of replicating the potion was discovered.
