Ring of Protecting

Description

These metal finger bands are made of finely polished silver, with an engraved image of a Kite Shield within a Sphere on one side of the band. The Ring is otherwise simple in design, and radiates a very faint aura of protection until it is given the proper amount of energy by a powerful recipient.

Lore

The Ring of Protecting was blessed by Seraphs many centuries ago, providing defensive boosts to allies of their divine patrons. Greater versions of these rings have been forged using the original as a model, but this act was not supported by the church. It was assumed that they viewed this proprietary theft as an affront to the gods themselves.
