Rallying Cry
Basic Mental Method [General, Perceptive]
Prerequisites: Mental Rank 2, Persuasion Rank 5
Standard Action [REC 5]
Cost: 3 Resolve
Limitation: Once per 5 rounds.
Effect: You issue forth a courageous command to remind your allies that hope is not lost. Make a Persuasion check vs. the enemies highest Coercion skill. Use the following to determine the result:
  • Opponent Wins: You fail to Swing the Tide of Battle (i.e. nothing happens).
  • You Win: You Swing the Tide one step in your favor, to a maximum of +2.
  • You Win by 10 or more: You Swing the Tide two steps in your favor, to a maximum of +2.
Augment, Greater Rally
[Mental Rank 4, Stacking]
Stacking [Rank 4, 6, 8, etc.]: This augment may be applied multiple times and is limited by your Mental Rank.
Effect: Increase the maximum that the Tide of Battle may favor your side by 1. Each time you apply this augment the maximum is increased by an additional 1 (i.e. a max of +3, then +4, etc). This augment has no effect on the amount the Tide of Battle is shifted on a success.
