Tao of the Rat
Advanced Qi Form [Tao]
Prerequisites: Qi Rank 4
Disciplines: Yin
No Action
Effect: You Qi manifests as a sickly hue as you seem to shrink scuttle forward with a desperate urgency. You may use the following modifiers with your Qi Strike:
Scurrying [Opener]
Cost: REC +1, 1 Stamina
Effect: Move your Skirmish speed before the attack.

Plagued [Transformation]
Cost: 1 Stamina
Effect: Your tainted Qi seeps into the skin of your enemy, filling their body with metaphysical illness. On a hit, the target is Sickened [SE, ST 4d10 vs CON].

Rat [Heart]
Effect: Your strike focuses your tainted Qi, infecting your enemy with a true disease. On a hit, the target is exposed to Blood Poisoning (1 Pestilence, DC 15).

Snatch [Finisher]
Cost: 2 Stamina
Effect: Your eyes nervously dart about for opportunity as your opponent recovers from your strike. After the attack, make a Sleight of Hand check to attempt to steal a hand-held item from the opponent. If the item is not held by the target, but is readily available on their person (i.e. in a belt pouch, pocket, around the neck, etc), the DC is 20. If the item is held by the opponent, the DC is 30. Items that are stored within a large container (such as within a backpack) may not be stolen (GM discretion). If your skill check exceeds the target's awareness, they are not aware that you took the item.
