Tao of the Revenant
Legendary Qi Form [Tao]
Prerequisites: Qi Rank 7
Disciplines: Balance
No Action
Effect: You may use the following modifiers with your Qi Strike:
Rotting [Opener]
Keywords: Metaphysical, Necrotic.
Action Change: This power becomes a Focus Action with FT 2. If it is already a Focus Action, increase the FT by 2
Cost: REC +1, 1 Stamina Burn
Effect: Before the attack, you gain an Aura (10ft) of rot that deals [3 x Qi Rank] Necrotic damage. The Aura persists until you recover from this power.
Eternal [Transformation]
Action Change: This power becomes a Focus Action with FT 1. If it is already a Focus Action, increase the FT by 1
Effect: If you hit with the attack (at least one target), you automatically save against one effect that a save can end.
Special: This effect only occurs once, regardless of the number of targets.
Revenant [Heart]
Keywords: Healing, Metaphysical.
Cost: 2 Stamina Burn
Effect: Your qi reflects from your opponent and heals your wounds. If you hit with the attack, you may make a Resilience Check with a +5 bonus to attempt to heal one of your injuries.
Special: The healing only occurs once, regardless of the number of targets.
Rest [Finisher]
Keywords: Metaphysical, Mind-Affecting.
Action Change: This power becomes a Focus Action with FT 2. If it is already a Focus Action, increase the FT by 2
Cost: 1 Stamina and 1 Stamina Burn
Effect: The attack is now versus Touch Defense instead of AC. On a hit the target takes no Weapon Damage (but still suffers other effects normally, including ongoing damage), and instead falls Asleep [SE 6d10 vs WIS]. The target must save within 10 segments or remain Asleep for 1d4 phases. If the target is damaged or shaken vigorously at any time it automatically wakes.
Special: If ongoing damage, or some other kind of damaging effect is applied with this attack, the target automatically saves against the sleep effect.
