Components: Holy water sprinkled with 1 gp value of powdered gold for every 5' square needed.
Focus: A circle drawn on the floor with salt (any size, but must be large enough to contain the creature).
Cost: 3 Resolve Allocation while circle remains active
Prep Time: 1 phase
Cast Time: 1 moment
Effect: You must lay the salt in a circle upon the floor, while muttering a prayer of protection. Your final incantations activate the circle, which will trap any Incorporeal Undead creature (signified with the Incorporeal Keyword) that moves into it (the target is considered Anchored and Confined). Alternatively, an Undead Spirit can be summoned into the circle, immediately trapping it.
While the creature may still bring physical harm to anyone within its reach without stepping out of the circle, it cannot affect creatures outside the circle with ranged powers or abilities.
The Undead Spirit remains trapped until the ritual is dispelled, dismissed, or the circle is disturbed (brushed away), damaged, or defaced. Additionally, a summoned Undead Spirit trapped within the circle may be Banished or Dismissed, sending it back to whence it came. While trapped, the Undead Spirit cannot affect the circle in any way.
