Demand
Your voice takes on a hypnotic quality, as you speak a short task (one or two sentences) which you wish the target to perform. The task must be communicated in a language understood by the target, or it cannot be compelled to act. If the task does not sound reasonable to the target (GM's discretion), or if the suggested task is obviously harmful to the creature or against its basic nature, the ritual automatically fails. If for some reason the task is impossible for the subject to perform, the ritual automatically fails.
Make a Ritual Casting Check [DC 30] to determine if the Demand succeeds. If the target has Ranks in Hate or Doubt towards you, you suffer a -2 penalty to your check for each Rank. If the check succeeds, the target is compelled to perform the task, to the best of its abilities, until the task is completed or until the duration of the ritual ends. If you fail the check, the target may immediately make an automatic (no check needed) Demand upon you.
Many creatures value their free will, so Demand should always be used with caution. Forcing a creature to act against its will is often cause for retaliation, and can have grave consequences when used against powerful beings.
