Target: Platinum Medallion
Effect: You place a drop of magic essence in a pool of clear water (suitable for scrying) and you soak the medallion in it for 1 hour. After that time, you speak a quick incantation over the medallion before placing it on the creature to be warded. For the duration of this ritual if a creature attempts to Scry upon the wearer of the medallion, it suffers a -15 penalty to its check. If the medallion is removed the ritual ends immediately.
When a scrying attempt is successfully blocked, the medallion burns briefly, alerting the wearer to the failed attempt. Additionally, if the scrying creature fails the check by 10 or more, the wearer gains a mental image of the scrying creature.
