Terrain Types

Terrain helps to describe the environment that a character is traveling through. Certain types of terrain, such as rushing rivers, muddy swamps and frozen lakes, can offer obstacles to adventurers as they travel from location to location, or an added level of difficulty to an encounter. Some terrain is natural like the examples described above, while other terrain can be manufactured, such as smooth cut stone walls or a magical slippery grease.
