The Elven Lieutenant serves as the primary leader for Elven scouting patrols that defend the borders of their woodland home. Strong, fast, and skilled, they are armed with light chain armor, rapiers, and shortbows, allowing them freedom of movement while still having excellent options for defense and offense. An Elf Lieutenant is cunning in battle, and never acts impulsively. When encountering a potential threat to their lands, they remain hidden along with their patrol, observing until they have determined the correct course of action. Should they deem the target needs to be eliminated, they give the order to attack with precision and ruthless efficiency, joining the fray along with their soldiers. More often than not, however, they will seek to simply capture the individual and escort it to the edge of their lands, with a stern warning.
