Iron Maiden
An iron maiden is an iron device, roughly humanoid in shape, and filled with sharp spikes. It has a hinged lid, allowing a creature to be placed inside of it and locked within. The spikes then pierce the body in many locations, causing the trapped creature to slowly bleed to death from their numerous wounds. It is considered a long and torturous death, favored by the most ruthless of executioners.
If a creature enters an Iron Maiden with force (such as when pushed into it), it suffers 5d6 Piercing Damage and ongoing 15 Bleed damage every 10 segments [SE, ST 5d10 vs CON]. It must also succeed a Resilience check [DC 15] or be subject to a Piercing Injury. Once the lid is closed, the target suffers an additional 5d6 piercing damage, the ongoing damage is increased by 15, and it must succeed another Resilience check [DC 20] to avoid a piercing injury. While within the Iron Maiden a target cannot save against the Bleed effect imposed by the trap.
Closing and locking the lid of an Iron Maiden is a Standard Action [REC 5].
An Iron Maiden can be escaped, with a Brawn check [DC 35] or an Escape check [DC 35]. If the trapped creature attempts to escape the Iron Maiden and fails, it suffers 15 Bleed damage. An Iron Maiden may be opened from the outside as a Standard Action [REC 5].
