Demolition Score

Some powers and abilities can do damage on a large scale, affecting buildings, castles, bridges, walls, and other Structures. These abilities have a Demolition Score. The greater the score, the greater the chance of damage a structure.

A demolition check is made by rolling 1d20 and adding the demolition bonus to it. Compare the result to the structure's Durability Score. If the result meets or exceeds the structure's Durability Score, then the structure gains a level of Ruin. For each 5 points the check exceeds the Durability Score, the structure gains an additional level of Ruin (i.e. exceeding by 5 or causes 2 Ruin, 10 or more 3 Ruin, etc).

If a power encompasses multiple structures, or multiple sections of the same structure, make a separate check against each structure/section.

Damage Vulnerability

Certain structures materials are vulnerable to certain damage types. Demolition powers that deal that damage type gain a +5 bonus to the roll.

Damage Resistance

Certain structures materials are resistant to certain damage types. Demolition powers that deal that damage type suffer a -5 penalty to the roll.

See Structural Damage for more information.
