——Captain of the guard, preventing an assassination attempt

Description

This useful vial of translucent grey liquid is encased in a decorative dull metal shell shaped to look like a cloaked humanoid of nondescript features. The vial is small and can fit into a case of thieves tools just as easily as a lock pick.

Lore

This potion got its name from its widespread use by hired murderers and serial killers. While the powers of the Assassin's Quaff are useful to just about anyone about to enter a fight, the reputation surrounding the item and its imbibers typically imply nefarious intent.
