Description

The Dagger of Venom is an exceptionally lethal weapon, created with the intention of exploiting a living creature's natural weakness against toxins. The blade is permanently coated with a virulent contact poison that can never be wiped off. The handle is wrapped in a thick, black lacquered snake skin with no hand guard. Two curved blades intertwine at the base and meet in a fine point, encasing a thin needle at the center meant for injecting a particularly lethal poison that is stored up over time.

Lore

This toxic knife was first created at the behest of a master assassin. Initially it was only designed to inject a poison through a simple mechanized device found on the pommel. The assassin it was created for became so fond of the readily available poison that he forced a would-be target, a wizard of some power, to enchant the blade so that it would forever be coated in his favorite contact toxin.
