"It was passed down through generations, 'afore we even knew there was generations. Me son asked me where it came from, so I told em' what me father told me. It came from the blood o' the earth, an the blood o' the dwarf. The two ain't so different."
——Dalfurion Steelcrest, Ancient Dwarven King

Description

This magnificent warhammer is made of virtually every metal known to dwarven kind, adamantine and mithral included. These metals are blended with such skill that a skilled weaponsmith would swear (incorrectly) that the hammer was in fact woven as one solid piece, and not forged. The front head of the hammer is wide and round, its striking surface perfectly even and flat. The back head is similarly round, but the striking surface is lined with sharp, ridged points, ideal for breaking apart tough surfaces. The two heads are connected to a solid metal shaft detailed with ancient dwarven history depictions and runes, carved in gold and mithral. These designs are so old, in fact, that a dwarven lore check DC 40 is required to understand their meaning.

Lore

Dverger Legacy's origin is claimed by all dwarf clans the world over, a rare case in which different clans and breeds of dwarf do not separate themselves from each other. The weapon holds such pride and value to any dwarf's sensibilities that the ideal it stands for can unite any dwarf with another under its message alone. The message? Hard work, fine craftsmanship, profit.
