Ring of the Ram
Description
The Ring of the Ram is constructed from a molded piece of horn, bound with dark iron, studded bands. A large band on the ring has the image of a ram’s head emblazoned on it.
Lore
First conceived of by a hermit sorcerer to keep pesky travelers off of his mountain, the ring was lost during a walk around his land in his twilight years. It eventually found its way into the hands of a traveling merchant, who then attempted to have it replicated. Upon doing this he drew the attention of a warlord and his band of mercenaries, who then promptly savaged it from him. They then took the ring to raid the temple of a sect of lawful priests. The priests defeated the mercenaries, but not without losing their front door. Since then many have attempted to study the item long enough to figure out how to make it, but every time they do, someone gets knocked off a cliff.
