Basic Physical Maneuver [General, Innate]
Prerequisites: Physical Rank 2 or Martial Rank 1

Requirement: You must be wielding a Melee Weapon.
Range: Melee
Target: One weapon or item.
Effect: Using your martial training, you pinpoint where an object's weak spots are, striking forcefully at the weapon and damaging or possibly even destroying it. You attempt to Damage a weapon or item your opponent is holding. Make an opposed weapon attack against the target. Items are treated as improvised weapons for purposes of this roll. Use the following to determine the result of your contest:
  • Target Wins by 10 or more: You are disarmed, and your weapon is dropped at your feet.
  • Target Wins: You fail to damage the item.
  • You Win: You reduce your opponent's Item's Integrity by one level if the Hardness of your Weapon is Greater Than or Equal to the Hardness of the item.
  • You Win by 10 or more: You reduce your opponent's Item's Integrity by one level if the Hardness of your Weapon + 1 is Greater Than or Equal to the Hardness of the item.
Special: If your opponent is larger than you, it gains a +4 bonus to the disarm check for each Size Category larger than you. Alternatively, if your opponent is smaller than you, it suffers a -4 penalty to the disarm check for each Size Category smaller than you.
