Animal Companion Innate Ability [Teleport]
Prerequisites: Martial Rank 7

Steal Away

Animal Companion Innate Ability

Immediate Action
Potency: [2d8 + Martial Rank]
Cost: 2 Karma, 4 Resolve and 3 Resolve Burn
Effect: The leopard grasps the opponent in its maw, dragging it away to never be seen again. Make an attack:
Range: Melee
Target: One creature within reach
Attack: Melee Weapon vs. AC
Hit: The target is trapped within the heart of the forest (an extradimensional space) and suffers ongoing 100 Annihilation damage every 10 segments (as its body is consumed by the deep wood) [SE, ST 6d10 vs CHA, no initial save]. The leopard and the target are both removed from the battlefield and there is no longer Line of Effect to either creature. The leopard will return at the start of the next round (as a free action). When the target saves, it returns to the location where it disappeared from.
Special: If the target is a Simple Creature, it is considered to be lost forever and does not return.
Special: If the target has Magic Resistance, it can negate the trap effect, but not the damage dealt by this ability.
