Gentle Mugging
Basic Martial Technique [Lunge]

Standard Action [REC Weapon Speed]
Cost: 2 Stamina
Effect: Striking directly in your opponent's field of vision, you use your attack as a diversion to lift something off your opponent while they are unable to see in front of them. Make an attack:
Range: Melee
Target: One creature
Attack: Melee Weapon vs. AC
Hit: Weapon[1 WD] and you may make a Sleight of Hand or Thievery check [DC 20] to steal a small item from their person (stored readily and not held in hand). If your skill check exceeds the target's Awareness, they are not aware that you took the item.
Master Augment, Magical Mugging
[Martial Rank 5, Magic Item]
Requirement: You must be wearing Magic Gloves.
Effect: Instead of stealing an object, you may steal an ongoing magical effect that is currently affecting the target and transfer it to yourself. You must be aware of the specific effect. The DC to steal the effect is based on the tier of the ability. DC 25 for Basic, DC 30 for Advanced, DC 40 for Legendary, and DC 50 for Ultimate. The effect lasts for the duration of the original effect or 3 rounds, whichever is shorter. If you are not a valid target for the magical effect, the effect cannot be stolen.
Augment, Greater Gentle Mugging
[Martial Rank 5, Stacking]
Stacking [Rank 5, 8, 11, etc.]: This augment may be used multiple times and is limited by your Martial Rank.
Effect: Increase the damage dealt by 1 WD.
Master Augment, Disarming Mugging [Stance]
[Martial Rank 2]
Requirement: You must be utilizing the Sucker Punch Stance.
Effect: If the target is your size or smaller, you may attempt to disarm the target or steal a held item. The DC to steal the item is equal to the target's [Awareness +5]. If you succeed the check, you have the item and the target automatically becomes aware of the theft on its next turn. Any bonuses the target has to resist being disarmed apply as a penalty to the Thievery Check.
Master Augment, Riffle Through Pockets [Stance]

Requirement: You must be utilizing the Cull the Weak Stance.
Effect: If your target is Prone, roll twice on the Thievery check and take the better result.
Master Augment, Mugging [Stance]
[Martial Rank 3]
Requirement: You must be utilizing a Stalker Stance.
Effect: On a hit, if the target is Isolated, you also Daze the target for 1d4 segments.
Master Augment, Distant Mugging [Stance]
[Martial Rank 3]
Requirement: You must be utilizing a Marksman Stance.
Effect: You may use this technique with a Ranged Weapon. On a hit, make a thievery check at a -5 penalty to remove an item that is attached to the target (such as tied to a belt) and cause it to fall to the ground at the target's feet.
Master Augment, Distracted Mugging [Stance]

Requirement: You must be utilizing the Pressing Gang Stance.
Effect: If you are Flanking the target, roll twice on the Thievery check and take the better result.
