Target: One Creature or Object
Effect: You pour the distilled Shadow over the target, suppressing its magical aura and alignment (including its supernatural aura, if any). While the ritual is in effect, any abilities used to detect magic or alignment fail unless they can detect Masked Auras [Ritual Casting DC 35]. Additionally, the target cannot be located via a Locate Object or Locate Creature ritual and any ability used to detect lies fails against the target. This ritual does not impart any ability to overcome effects that prevent lying, such as a Zone of Truth.
