"Do not be afraid, my friend. No harm will come to you while you are in my care. Well…..actually it might, but I promise I shall fix it right away."
——Anthus, a Healer of the Lifespring
There are clerics, and then there are dedicated patrons of life and restoration. The Healer of the Lifespring has dedicated their life to the noble pursuit of healing the injuries of their allies. Because of following this path, they are highly sought after by adventuring parties, but such a person has been known to have very specific guidelines for the conduct of said adventurers, and as such these relationships do not last for long. Healers of the Lifespring can be indiscriminate in who they help, and choose to focus instead on the greater good, keeping those around them healthy and strong. This can sometimes hinder as much as it helps, but it is this selflessness and non judgemental behavior that makes such a person welcome just about anywhere except a necromancer’s dungeon. In many cultures, it is even considered to be a great mark of shame or depravity to strike a Healer of the Lifespring, even on an open battlefield, for all that witness understand that should they fall, nobody’s wounds will be getting healed that day.
