Cost: 2 Resolve

Duration: 10 rounds.

Upkeep: Spend 2 Resolve and increase the duration by 10 rounds.

Effect: You position yourself near an ally, ready to throw yourself in harm's way at a moment's notice. While in this stance, when an adjacent ally is hit with a Melee Weapon attack, you may take damage equal to your Martial Rank to reduce the damage to your ally by your Martial Rank. The damage you suffer as a result of this stance cannot be reduced or resisted in any way.

Special: This stance ends immediately if you enter another stance or you are rendered Helpless.
