Wyvern Riders are the closest thing to a respected military regiment that Half-Orcs understand. Wyverns are powerful, ornery creatures, and it takes a stronger and more ornery willpower to break them. Most Wyvern Riders do this with some modicum of success, the rest figure it out the hard way, along with some lost fingers. They equip themselves with breastplates, battleaxes, and hand crossbows, making them a dangerous enemy in the land or the air, especially during those rare times that they manage to direct their Wyverns into a coherent combat formation, which isn’t often. Still, even when they fail in this a single Wyvern Rider is capable of inflicting massive amounts of destruction, and many of them learn to just let the Wyvern fight as it pleases.
