Effect: You reach into the hat and pull a random object from it. Objects pulled from the hat disappear after 1 hour unless consumed. Roll 1d20 to determine what the hat produces.

17A Herd of wild white rabbits bursts out of the hat and covers an area 50 feet in diameter surrounding the hat, persisting for 1 moment. Anyone attempting to move through the area is Entangled.
18A small Dragon's head is briefly pulled from the hat, breathing a 40 foot cone of flame. Make an attack on all creatures within the area, +7 vs Reflex. On a hit, deal 6d10 Fire damage. Half damage on a miss., save vs dexterity 4d10 for half. The head disappears after making the attack.
19One Potion of Resolve and one Potion of Stamina.

Description

This black top hat is in excellent condition, sporting a bright, shiny red headband. It otherwise appears unremarkable until its magic is used, at which point a bright yellow glow emits from inside the hat as a random object is pulled through the gate hidden within.

Lore

These hats are more powerful versions of items originally created to aid apprentice wizards in magical training. Some would argue that there are more efficient ways to acquire aid through magic, while others would say that while the Hat of Useful Tricks does not always give you what you want, it often times gives you what you need.
